CPE trial October 2015

Announcing Hilltown Hounds sanctioned CPE Trial

October 10-11, 2015

Location: Roaring Brook Farm Conway, MA (see directions in Premium)

September 28 UPDATE:  We still have runs available for both Saturday and Sunday of our CPE trial.

Please notify our Trial Secretary Val Reiner via email.  Please note that the trial is now at Roaring Brook Farm in Conway, Massachusetts.  We had to move due to damage to and replacement of the dome at our original site in Greenfield.  Runs will be indoors in a riding arena on dirt at this beautiful horse farm with spectacular views and plenty of places to take your dog for a nice long walk in between runs.  This is a great venue for new, young or dogs with issues as it is walled on 3 sides and fenced in the front of the ring. There will be a food vendor on site, plenty of workers’ food options, terrific workers’ raffle and tons of fun with our judge, Paul Stusalitus.  Hope you can join us.

PLEASE NOTE Aug 27 UPDATE: Since many people have heard that there might be a problem with the dome in Greenfield, we would like to put everyone’s mind at ease about the Hilltown Hounds trial scheduled for October 10th and 11th at Indoor Action Sports.  The dome is on schedule to be completed shortly before our trial date.  However, we have a contingency plan, which does not include an outdoor site.  We will be making a decision on September 14th whether the trial will run at the dome in Greenfield or at our contingency site and will pass that decision on to competitors on that date. Please be assured that any site change will still be within easy commuting distance (less than 20 miles) from the Greenfield area.

Facility: Indoor riding arena, enclosed, plenty of crating, and viewing areas.

Lodging: List of local lodging and off-site campgrounds, and hotels available in the premium. Limited on-site camping for self-contained units, no hookups, see info in premium.
